Still pretty good
everal Jio subscribers are now in a state of confusion with so many new plans being introduced and then being ditched. So what are the plans that you can get right now? Read: Airtel, Idea, and Vodafone countering Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offer with new plans Jio’s new plan is known as “Dhan Dhana Dhan” and will come with the same data benefits with a validity of 3 months or 84 days. There are two different plans for Prime and non-Prime customers respectively, with non-Prime customers having to spend slightly more for the plans. If you have subscribed to the Rs 99 Jio Prime offer, you can get 1GB of data per day for Rs 309 and 2GB of data per Rs 509. Naturally, the plan will also include unlimited calling and text messages, so not much has changed in that regard. The recharge will be valid for 3 months or 84 days. Non-Prime customers will have to pay Rs 408 and Rs 608 for 1GB and 2GB of data per day respectively. The validity remains the same with these packs as well. In short, you will get 84 and 168GB of data for Rs 309 and Rs 409 if you’re a Prime customer and the same amount of data for Rs 408 and Rs 608 if you don’t have a Prime subscription yet. These offers are not as attractive as the Summer Surprise offer, but you’re still getting the same per-day data benefits with this pack, so customers don’t have to be too disheartened. Jio’s Summer Surprise offer came with 4 months of the same benefits for a slightly lower price. However, after a complaint by a fellow carrier, TRAI had to offer a formal warning to Jio about its highly disruptive plans. As a result, Jio has finally come up with the new Dhan Dhana Dhan offer. It is interesting to note that those who have subscribed to the Summer Surprise plan on or before April 11 will get to keep the benefits as promised. But those who haven’t will have to pick from either of the aforementioned plans. Also read: Is Reliance Jio good enough to replace your primary SIM?
